Summertime EVENTS!

Feeling tired?
Take heart: the school year is almost over!!
Whether you're making the transition from elementary to middle school, middle school to high school, or high school to college (and anywhere in between!), we have a boatload of events for tweens and teens!

Start off Summer with a BANG! Battle of The Bands will be held on July 1st, tentatively from 5-9PM. We've already booked the following bands:
Wilbur
Riverside
Suspicious Activity
Common Misconception
The Line
Inmate
Nothing Epic!

Contrary to the last band's name, I'm sure it will be QUITE epic! =D

We will be putting out the SUMMER issue of "The Paper" (I ask again, can you believe it's been a whole YEAR??), once a week.

Also on Wednesdays will be the tryouts for RVC's Got Talent!! Finale will be on Thursday, August 12th!!

So the library's not all music and singing. We've got our very own anime convention that will be held this summer. Not just your typical library event; we've got manga artist Misako Rocks as a guest speaker.

Below you'll find a copy of our auditions!

The American Idol Finale will be held on Thursday, March 25th (that's NEXT WEEK!) at 7PM!!
You'll have the chance to vote for your favorite; the winner gets a 50 dollar iTunes gift card, and 2nd and 3rd place each get a 25 dollar card! Doesn't it sound exciting?? Hope to see you there!

MOVIE NIGHT OH-NINE!

Hey everyone!

The holiday time is upon us, and what better way to ring in the season than to come on down to the Rockville Centre Public Library on Tuesday, December 22nd, for the Finding Nemo Movie Night! As the title implies, we'll be showing Nemo after showing a special Christmas episode of The Simpsons!

Admission is free, and pizza will be served!

Hey everyone!!

After a quick summer vacation, here we find ourselves at school again. I hope everyone enjoyed the various and sundry summer activities that took place. American Idol was a tremendous success, and congratulations to Crystalyn Wynter, the 2009 American Idol Champ! For those who were there, it will be held again: likely in March or April, so more people can perform! We TAG-ers will be hard at work over the next few months to make this year as excellent as last year! Be sure to comment on the blog if you have any questions or...well...comments! Or feel free to e-mail us at iTag91@gmail.com We'll let you know as soon as we have a schedule for the next few months. Keep your ears open and this website bookmarked; it's going to be a fun year!!

And if you're free Mondays @ 7PM, stop by Kim's Corner for "The Paper"! After a successful summer run (our product, "Snippets of Summer" can be found at the library), we're continuing the program through December, and likely through the end of the year, and the summer...and so on, so forth!

Hope everyone's had a smooth transition from summer to school; where did the time go, anyway?!
